Geeks Without Bounds links up hacker, maker, and developer communities to humanitarian organizations through an acceleration process.
Core Skills
Mentorship, event facilitation, building software tools, building low-cost hardware tools.
Workflow Inputs
What are the pain points for response, and which of those could be effectively eased through the use of technology? What sorts of connectivity and power is available, what are the security concerns, what is the most basic thing that could help everywhere?
Workflow Outputs
Technical teams who are aware of the ecosystem of humanitarian response, know how to interact with them, and have structured their business to serve response teams. People who know how to ask the right questions and deliver reliable products.
