The DNNetwork will be involved at the ICCM in three different ways:
- An Ignite Talk given by Luis Capelo,
- A self organized session to have an open discussion with anyone interested to help guide the future of the network, and
- A "simulation"-like event on Sunday, 14-Oct.
When the DHNetwork was established in April, it was very clear that the network would take an adaptive approach. After two activations and the addition of several new members, we are already adapting. But, we are also hoping that the events held at ICCM will both help guide us in setting a future path as well as determine how we can work together in a better way.
On the Sunday, the Digital Humanitarian Network (DHNetwork) is going to run through a type of simulation to test & review its activiation protocal and several small table-top exercises to help the various V&TCs explore ways that they can work together.
It should be noted that the simulation is only happening as a result of the kind support from ICT4Peace, the heavy-lifting byTechChange, and the continued support of two former-UNOCHA interns Luis Capelo and Natalie Chang.
